FAQ’s
How Long are virtual coaching sessions?
Telehealth appointments will be 45-60 minutes in length. Please be prepared a few minutes before the call so we can start promptly.
How do virtual sessions work?
For these visits, we will send you detailed instructions on how to log into our secure patient platform, Jane! We recommend you have a laptop with a webcam for this interaction. You will communicate with your therapist via video chat. We can email any documentation or home program after your visit.
How do Mobile Physical Therapy sessions work?
Your physical therapist will arrive at your home at your scheduled appointment time. We recommend having a private room available for your session to ensure comfort and privacy, free of distractions. The therapist will bring all needed equipment and set up in the space provided.
You will review any questions and exercises/strategies to be completed between sessions.
Are you in network with my insurance? How much will it cost?
Prior to your first visit, your benefits will be verified and reviewed with you. Depending on your individual plan and how much of your deductible/out of pocket that has been met will factor in determining the cost of each session.
What to Expect
-
Patients will have a comprehensive evaluation with a physical therapist. Together, we will discuss your medical history and symptoms to fully understand your condition. For pelvic health patients, your evaluation may include both internal and external components. This process will always be discussed in detail and respectful of your personal comfort. We will then create a plan of action to meet your individual goals and provide relief for your symptoms.
-
Families can expect a comprehensive discussion of mom and baby's medical history. We will work to identify feeding challenges, latch, and positioning, and devise a plan to reach your family’s feeding goals! This may include breastfeeding, bottle feeding, breast pump use, and education on supplementing.
